The SWITCH event provided Kagool with a way into the Southeast Asian market. We connected with potential partners, prospects, and government bodies to discuss how we can work together to push the forefront of tech innovation forward.
What became clear was that the market is hungry for data innovation and expertise, as highlighted by the IDC in November 2022. We had some great conversations with enterprises, SMEs and start-ups about their growth goals, and how vital data and process management is to achieve them.
We gained valuable insights into where the opportunities lie for IT consultancy in the Southeast Asian market. Competitive organisations in Singapore are making full use of technological advancements including smart systems, AI, cloud computing and the Industrial Metaverse; and the pace at which these innovations are being adopted is only accelerating.
Our robotic arm and HoloLens demo, which illustrated the value of an Industrial Metaverse solution for a remote engineering use case, garnered lots of attention and positive feedback. The solution leveraged AI/ML, IoT, VR, and RPA, all working within Microsoft’s Azure platform. Kagool can bring all these technologies together with the vital key that makes them all work: data. This same demo has already impressed people in ~40 Microsoft Technology Centres around the world, and we’re excited to bring it to SWITCH attendees too.
From our research in the UK and Europe, businesses are facing a variety of challenges with managing their data, the top among these being ERP transformation and data quality. It seems that many businesses in the Asian market may reflect this trend too. Organisations that want to leverage new technologies and stay ready for whatever new innovations are coming next, must have a robust underlying digital infrastructure, capable of supporting a single source of reliable and trustworthy cross-functional business data. For this data platform to be sustainable, it must also be adaptable and easily scalable. From the conversations Kagool had at the event, it seems clear that many organisations would welcome any support in putting such a platform in place successfully and predictably. The platform would then enable infinite possibilities in terms of tech innovations and use cases.
Our data expertise, combined with our experience in planning and executing end-to-end digital transformation programmes, has given us the knowledge we need to help organisations implement the IT systems needed to deliver results. For example, we have helped Smiths Group transform into a data-driven organisation that can make strategic, informed business decisions from its data insights. Read the full case study.
We can assess an organisation’s IT landscape and business goals, and quickly define a roadmap to help them gain the most value out of their data in the quickest time. We place emphasis on ensuring the platform can scale and grow with the business.
