We actively engage in charity and community initiatives, locally, nationally and internationally. We strive to always be giving back to the communities that have built us up.
We regularly support charities both large and small, from NSPCC, to Birmingham Children's Hospital, to Acorns Children's Hospice. At the Hospice, some of our senior team even walked across hot coals to raise funds!
Kagool has support 40 vulnerable families local to its Coventry HQ, through donating to the school hamper campaign run by Sewa Day.
Kagool have also supported the Shishu Mangal Orphanage near its India offices, helping to educate the children and supplying stationary to support their studies.

We enjoy a close partnership with Employability UK, a charity which aims to enhance the aspirations, opportunities, and career prospects of young people.
We created the Tech Boss Challenge in partnership with Employability UK, helping to raise the confidence of young people by giving them a challenge to creatively work through together, as well as giving them a glimpse into the tech industry.
Kagool continues to give its time and support to students outside of the programme, for example by providing employees' time to help local school Ash Green with mock interviews as part of their Prep for Post 18 Week.
Throughout the Tech Boss Challenge, I believe my confidence and leaderships skills dramatically increased and the experience opened many doors towards the tech industry.
Kagool are actively involved in shaping the digital landscape of the future. Members of our senior leadership team sit on one of the few west midlands regional think-tanks. We also work closely with local universities to foster talent and support the next generation, setting projects for the Birmingham Business School at University of Birmingham and the Coventry University Talent Showcase where Kagool sponsored and presented the award for “Most Academically Challenging Project of the year”.
We are also actively involved with Tech UK, a network for innovation and collaboration across business, government, and stakeholders to provide a better future for people, society, the economy and the planet and Birmingham Tech, a not-for-profit community initiative (CIC) which aims to raise the profile of the Birmingham and West Midlands tech scene resulting in a stronger, more resilient economic future for the region through the creation of more digital jobs, exciting and scalable innovation, and stronger relationships with other tech hubs around the world. Through this we are helping to shape regional and national government policy in the Data, Analytics and AI space.
The "Sanctuary" initiative for the Coventry-based Production company Imagineer. Sanctuary, A Covid memorial for the nation was a unique commemorative public memorial that stood as an unforgettable temporary structure which offered a moment to commemorate the nation’s loss during the Covid-19 pandemic, to mark the rebirth, recovery and regeneration of the whole community. Kagool were proud to sponsor this unique and culturally significant art installation.
The West Midlands Tech Awards recognise everything from pure-play digital startups to traditional companies using tech and digital innovation to transform their businesses. They also highlight the use of digital technologies to find new ways to deliver public services and celebrate the artists, creatives and musicians using digital approaches to enhance the life and culture of the region. Kagool are proud to be the headline sponsor of these awards and we have also sponsored the individual award for “Innovation in Education”. Education is so important to Kagool. Upskilling and training graduates is one of the biggest things we do here, and our ties to schools and universities has deepened our connection to education. These awards aim to recognise organisations that are genuinely making a difference and doing something innovative with tech.
Kagool employees are encouraged to report any experiences or behaviours that do not align with Kagool’s values. As well as being able to report issues up the chain of management, Kagool has a whistle-blower process where employees can anonymously report concerns, which will then be acted upon by senior management.
Kagool is committed to integrity and fairness across all its operations and does not tolerate bribery or corruption. Kagool has a clearly laid-out anti-bribery policy, and any reports following that process are taken extremely seriously by senior management. Kagool also has a conflict-of-interest policy in place to make sure that judgement and integrity do not have the potential to be compromised even unwittingly.

Information security is important to Kagool as a company and has certification in both ISO 27001 and 20000, which are maintained and implemented through an information management system. To further its commitment to information security, Kagool is in the process of going through a SOC 2 audit. The protection of Kagool’s information and assets, and client or third-party information and assets, is something that Kagool takes seriously and has plenty of policies on and provides regular training for its employees.
